The designer should always pay attention to the old permalink structure and should preserve it if possible in order to avoid tones of 301 (cause they can slow the website additionally)

3. Tag the designer and ask them to write a single paragraph explaining the project and ask them to highlight any unique elements

Is there anything on the site that becomes hard to see at different sizes?
Is the quick-search adjusted properly?
Does anything look squished on any of the sizes?
Does anything look like it needs more padding on different sizes?
CTA
Make sure that the site has the default CTA’s setup.
If the site has some custom CTA’s do not edit them ask the lead designer to see if that is a client request.
HOME VALUATION
If the site has the Home Valuation addon make sure that is setup properly
Make sure that the test address is showing in the Dropdown Menu
Make sure that Facebook and Google login buttons work
Make sure that the Home Valuation report has the client's information and check notifications email - it's empty by default

BUYER AND SELLER GUIDES
On the buyer and seller guides page, is the tabbing working / switching correctly?
Make sure to fill out a test submission and send the guides to your email, and check out if the link is working, if not go into the Form Notification Settings, and change the URLs to the live domain URL. You will find the PDF guides in the Media Library to copy the links.
Are the PDFs correct with the colors and information from the about us page, and the correct address of the Client?
Are the Buyer and Seller Guides with their matching CTAs the right color, pulling the right Guide Images and are all the placeholders in place in the forms?
FORMS
Make sure that all of the forms have CAPTCHA added.
On the Free Home Evaluation form, is the state showing that of the client instead of the default Florida
If the client has specified a different email address to display on the site (rather than the admin email), is it reflected on the From Email email of the user notifications?
Are the user notifications the guide forms showing the client (or group) name?
BLOG
Are the blog posts showing X – Facebook Comments options?
If the Facebook Comments box does not appear on the blog posts go to Settings>No Page Comment>Click Enable All Comments for posts
AF LIVE SITE SEO / PAGE SPEED CHECKLIST
Each task must be completed by a designer and double-checked by live site team prior to a website being made live.
All pages must have a unique Title tag and Meta Description set in Yoast SEO plugin
No pages should have duplicate Title tags or Meta Descriptions.
Homepage should be named with the name of the company, and not “Home”.
All pages must have an H1 tag.
Global typography, button, color styles etc should always be set using the global Theme Settings, further css should only be added to the SCSS Editor… inline css should not be used anywhere.
All images used must have relevant Alt-Tag text
All images must be saved with a relevant and descriptive filename – No image should be named AdobeStock1987430983232.jpg for example.
All images must be compressed as much as possible without losing too much image quality and saved with an optimised file size – https://pixlr.com/x
Image sizes must be optimised for the real dimensions in which they will be displayed on the frontend – e.g. Do not use a 1000px width image in a 300px width space.
Mobile only sections must have all content further optimised for mobile display – e.g. Smaller images, less content etc.

Listing pages using custom hotsheets should not contain only the hotsheet shortcode and nothing else. The shortcode must be placed below an H1 tag and the page given a unique Title tag and Meta Description in Yoast SEO Module e.g. “Chicago Featured Listings” – “ Explore our hottest new properties for sale in the Chicago area”.
Blog Category pages must be given an H1 tag, title tag and Meta Description. E.g. sitename.com/category/uncategorized

The client should submit a sitemap to Google console
