How to Send Us Your DNS zone Records?

When we host your website, we manage its core DNS (Domain Name System) records. The DNS system is like the internet's phonebook—it tells browsers where to find your website.

However, your domain might also be configured to work with other services, such as:

  • Email providers (like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365)

  • Subdomains (like blog.yourwebsite.com or shop.yourwebsite.com)

  • Third-party verification services (for marketing, security, emails etc.)

To ensure these services continue to work seamlessly after your website is live on our servers, we need a complete list of your current DNS records. This allows us to add them to your website's configuration on our end.

The Required Format: Clear Text

To avoid errors, we need your records in a clear text format. This means the information should be typed or copied directly into the body of your support ticket or into a simple text file (.txt).

IMPORTANT: Please do not send screenshots. Screenshots cannot be copied, are often hard to read, and can lead to typos and mistakes when we re-enter the data.

Your list should include the TypeName (or Host), and Value (or Target/Data) for each record. If you see a TTL (Time To Live), please include that as well.

Here is a perfect example of what types of records you can send to us:

Type Name / Host Value / Target TTL
A @ 192.0.2.123 3600
CNAME something yourwebsite.com Auto
MX @ aspmx.l.google.com 3600
MX @ alt1.aspmx.l.google.com 3600
TXT @ google-site-verification=abc123xyz789 14400
TXT mail._domainkey v=DKIM1; k=rsa; p=MIGfMA... Auto
CNAME shop shops.myshopify.com 3600

(Note: The @ symbol typically represents your root domain, e.g., yourwebsite.com)
