This article will show you how to properly utilize our newest AFIDX feature: adding MLS listings using the My Listings tool.
With our latest feature, you'll have 2 options to add an AFIDX MLS listing to your site using the My Listings tool.
Manually adding the address or MLS number
Head over to the Dashboard - Site Tools - My Listings:
Click on the 'Add Listing' button then select Add From IDX as shown below:
Next, you'll be prompted to input the Listing's address or MLS number, the system will show a dropdown of the listing click on it (note: if a property has been listed on multiple MLSs you'll see it repeated on the list)
When you click on the listing or choose the correct one, you'll be prompted to select For sale if it's active or Sold (these options will vary depending on the MLS, also you'll have the option to edit these statuses), then make sure you check on the disclaimer "I confirm that I have explicit permission, as per my contract, to import and use the data from this MLS listing. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for any misuse of this data." otherwise you wont be able to proceed then click on the 'next step' button:
Lastly, you'll be prompted to rename the listing (if needed) and then click on the 'create listing' button to finish up the set up:
Automatically adding the listing through #import
The other option is a lot easier, head over to the listing page on your site. Then add #import at the end of the listing's URL:
You'll be prompted to rename it (if needed), make sure to check the disclaimer's box and then click on import listing.
That's it, after a few seconds all the information will be moved to the template and you can make any edits accordingly. Remember your new added listing will be found under Dashboard - Site Tools - My Listings:
